Hi, all, from Montana, where winter is lingering quite a bit longer than we'd choose However, it's a tradition here ALWAYS to be thankful for moisture, so we're keeping a relatively good attitude about the snow and cold. And this morning the light on the clouds and skiff of new snow was spectacular!
I am looking forward to seeing the migrating birds return to Montana. Just the other day, when Katie and I were heading home from a bird drive, she said she wished she'd seen some sandhill cranes. No sooner had she said it than a pair flew across the sky in front of us. What a great sign!
I hope to see some of you on this upcoming trip. Details below. Please be sure to let your friends in Minneapolis know about my concert there on Saturday, April 5. The event is posted on Facebook, too, so you can send the news that way. And if you're a FB user but haven't yet signed up for Fans and Friends of Judy Fjell, I'd love to add you to the group.
HELENA (APRIL 1) Our Helena chapter of the Montana Women's Chorus will be singing for the Grow Local event on Tuesday, April 1. This annual potluck is about the best food you'll ever taste and the speaker, Montanan Bob Quinn will share some good news on the food front. http://helenagardens.org
Then I'm off for points east and west. This upcoming trip is going to be a full one - here are the details:

I am excited as always to attend our annual conference. I have served Music EdVentures for four years now in presidential leadership, this being the end of my year as Past President. Those of you who ever have attended any of my music workshops or retreats have benefited from the principles and practices of this wonderful organization and all it has given to me.
